Charles B. Johnson, II
Charlie joined Neville, Rodie & Shaw in 1986. Prior to that time he spent two years as a senior portfolio manager with Dudley & Wilkinson. Having joined the investment research department of the Bank of New York in 1966, Charlie was subsequently assigned to the personal asset management sector. In 1978 he became head of the Institutional Investment Counsel Department, responsible for all of the Bank's endowment, foundation, and public pension accounts.
Charlie is a 1963 graduate of Bucknell University after which he served three years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army.
A resident of Montclair, New Jersey, he has served as Trustee and Treasurer of the Family & Children's Service of Montclair and Glen Ridge, the Memorial Endowment Fund of the Presbyterian Church of Upper Montclair, and on the Advisory Board of Diversified Technology Services.
A member of the Union League Club in New York City, the Adirondack League Club, and the Lake Hopatong Yacht Club, he is an active sailor, skier, and outdoorsman.
